Mold Inspectors | Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Roswell, Alpharetta, Smyrna & Beyond

Atlanta Mold InspectorsMold inspectors are often a key element of selling a home in Atlanta, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, Smyrna, and other communities in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area. Today’s home buyers are becoming knowledgeable about mold issues, so when they are interested in purchasing a home, they often will request a mold inspection. Therefore, real estate professionals and others trying to sell a home are smart to invest in a mold inspection and mold remediation services. This allows home sellers to show potential buyers that the home has been cleared of any mold problems.

NoMoldAtlanta is owned and operated by the Ortega family – a family that has been in the real estate business for more than 20 years. During that time, we have managed and staged multimillion dollar homes throughout the Atlanta area. We understand what it takes to sell a home – and we also understand how important it is to have mold inspectors examine any home that’s on the market in Marietta, Dunwoody and anywhere else in Metro Atlanta.

A mold inspector typically will focus on the following:

  • Air samples in areas where there is visible mold (if there is any)
  • Tape samples of visible mold (if there is any) in order to determine the species of the mold.
  • Inspection of hidden areas where mold might be present
  • Air samples from all areas of the home such as the basement, kitchen, bedrooms, etc.
  • Air samples from outside the home

Once these samples are taken and tallied, mold inspectors will provide you with a lab report showing the spore counts and the different molds present in the tested areas. If there is a variation in the counts – for example, if the mold inside the home is significantly higher than outside the home – then a mold problem exists and should be resolved by a Certified Mold Remediator like NoMoldAtlanta. It is also important to note that if there is visible mold inside the home, it is a clear indication of a house mold problem and you should seek professional assistance from us immediately.

If you are trying to sell a home with a possible mold problem, please contact NoMoldAtlanta. We have worked with real estate professionals, property management companies, banks, foreclosure departments, and many other home sellers, and we will be happy to assist you, too.
